Work & Perk: Workshop with Pressed Flower Crafts

Learn how to turn fresh flower petals into beautiful works of art at the creative Harwood coffee house Magnolias: Sous Le Pont! Join us with Pressed Flower Crafts founder Andrea Castandeda for a fall-inspired workshop on Saturday, November 17 from 11 AM – 1 PM. Enjoy complimentary drip coffee and pastries provided by Magnolias as you create your own personalized art piece to take home.

Participants will receive everything needed to create a beautiful piece of art. This includes art tweezers, pencil, scissors, fresh flowers to press and pre-pressed flowers, and an Eiffel Tower Pressed Flower sticker!

*Please bring your own thick book to press flowers and take home post-class.

Work & Perk is a workshop series hosted by Magnolias: Sous Le Pont, an inspiring coffee house located in the Harwood District with unique drinks, creative events, local art, and more. Complimentary parking for Magnolias is located in the adjacent garage. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the class to check-in with a barista. All workshop sales final.

National Coffee Day

Join Harwood's best coffeehouse Magnolias: Sous Le Pont for National Coffee Day Saturday, September 29th. We'll be featuring $1 drip coffee all day, a cupping class beginning at 1 PM & live music performances until 6 PM.

A Special class will be ofered as part of our Barista Basics Series on National Coffee Day. Just like wine, there are endless flavor notes to coffee too. Cupping is one of the best ways to learn more about the different flavors and aromas of different coffee beans. Learn the basics of tasting and identifying coffee flavors with this introductory class on National Coffee Day at Magnolias: Sous Le Pont. 

At the end of class, participants will receive an 8 oz bag of beans by Avoca Coffee Roasters and some fun swag!
